I heard about an electronic base guidebook, so to say, that French jumpers compiled. I'm gonna be visiting Brento during my trip this September and I hear there is some great Italy beta in it. Anyone willing to let an American have a copy?

I think you need to do better than this (asking about it on the internet) to get a copy of that book. I heard that people had to do awful things to get the copy. One guy I know is still so traumatized for what he had to do to get a copy he starts to shiver and cry evertime he opens the book. Another guy stole a copy and was then hunted for more than 3 years by the frenchies. When they fond him they forced him to do a pca off every object described in the book.
To make long things short, if I where you I would only whisper if you have to talk about the book. Don't ask the wrong people about it, you might run into making a deal with the devil...
By the way, if you get a copy can you please upload it to your dropbox and post the link on this forum?

Appears to be more difficult to get than just joining on the website....

This book is NOT for BASE tourism !
It's mainly for people who go in the mountain, open new exits and share it with people doing the same thing ...
You have to give before you receive, and it's certainly not a question of money.

Come here, meet locals, share exits and good moments in the mountain and then you'll be able to have (a look at) the book.

Hope nobody share it on a dropbox account, never ... or we will have to make him disappear in the wild
