Hey JT thanks for the reply...How is the Hike/transport to the exits at Kattahmmeren ??

I will only have a week or two in Norway and I would like to knock out as many jumps as possible,,, Right now I'm leaning towards the Helliboogie at Kjerag..

Thanks a bunch for the info!!

go for kjerag...

you got everything organized, like a lazy base-vacation...

katthammaren is imho one of the most beautiful jumps there is... however, an exhausting and much longer hike than kjerag will ever be...

Best place for begginner Big Wall BASEjumping? Without a doubt, Kjerag. Stavanger BASE Klubb caters to beginer Big Wall jumpers like no one else. In my limited experience there are definitely some really nice Big walls in Norway for beginers, (Katthammer for sure) but at Kjerag you will be able to make multi jumps easier, and in a very friendly environment. Best country in the world for beginner Big Wall BASE? Norway, without a doubt, super BASE friendly too. Regards, B.

If you are planning on making a lot of jumps in Norway you might want to try for more than a week long trip as the weather is very unpredictable. It is possible to on weathered out for a week at a time. The longer you are there the better chance you have to get jumpable days. Kjerag you can easily do 3 jumps a day, farther north you are looking at 1-2 per day if you are a fit person.

Right on! My vote goes also for this. And also the cool part is that given the nature of the wall, you will inevitably end up with some proximity flying so you can get all the coolness points on the same time!

Kjerag, is the place to start out.

Karlskråtind is the best cliff for beginngers I know, but 3 to 7 hours hike for one jump is a killer. Katthammer, is okay, but I would recomend Kjerag as a standard answer.
