Looking for any old timers :) who knew my friend Larry March from Oregon. Been searching for him for years I taught him how to climb trees with a chainsaw. I am not a base jumper just an old 82nd ABN paratrooper looking for info on an old friend I loved and miss

"Looney Larry" has been gone a long time now.

He was a one of a kind, FTW kind of dude.

His injuries finally took him.

 
I did my first "professional" tandem video with Larry, one of my instructors in Lodi, at a dropzone in Oregon.

When I was a student, Larry told my girlfriend I would probably kill myself or be a great skydiver...well at least I'm not dead...yet.

I had 86 total jumps when I jumped video with Larry...he must have seen something in me that gave him the confidence that I wouldn't kill him...he had to keep waving me to fly closer...the student loved their video...it probably sucked wind...ha ha.

If I'm not mistaken...my girlfriend was with Larry when he passed..."blowhole" "looney" Larry...they broke the mold...
