Great piece with great images. I'd say job well done.

Nice article.
Really sucks that there was a double tandem fatality 2 days before this article @ the Ranch

I'm with Avenfoto, good stuff!

I'm curious, Tree seems pretty bitter about the Moab tandem operation and VERY worried about results of possible offheadings. Obviously the TF operation can jump with clients in more versatile weather conditions than Mario in Moab, but I'm wondering how often do they experience significant offheadings at the Perrine (when doing tandems)? Is it a legitimate concern when jumping in almost nil winds? I know and understand that PCA/SL offheadings can happen eventhough they are pretty rare, but I wonder if there's actual data? Mick do you know if Mario's had offheadings?

I'd be interested to know this for my own static-line jumping. Have you had 45 off? 90 off? >90? I've only seen off-headings on static line jumps via video when people don't jump with the attachment point directly behind them.

Anyone have an example where a regular non-tandem static line, set up properly, resulted in a >90deg off-heading?
