Injury in Lauterbrunnen (Jonathan Davies)
Dear All,

by a request from his parents, I unfortunately have to inform you that Jonathan Davies was injured last monday on a jump in Lauterbrunnen. What I was told is that Jonathan made a jump from the Dumpster and had multiple line twists, 180 and several cliff strikes as a result. He was airlifted to Bern where he is at the moment receiving treatment to his injuries. His injuries are : broken right ankle, fractured pelvis, open fractured right elbow and some fractures on the face (cheek bones).

His parents are with him in the hospital and they wanted me to let his friends know the above. If you are a friend of him and would like to know more, you can email me at markus (at) basejump.fi and I´ll keep you updated.

Lot´s of good vibes to him and heal fast!

good healing to him, maybe somebody suggest to him growth hormone releasers, CJC1295 and GHRP6, they work in conjunction and can maximize IGF levels 100-300% depending on dosage and individual biochemistry. It helps with bone fractures and is relatively cheap (a 6 month course of that should cost him approximately 250 US dollars).

was he wearing a full face helmet? (just curious because of the facial injuries)

heal fast and well!

what his insurance company? (from other poster)

Unfortunately I do not know the answer to neither of the questions. I only know that he was fully insured and his dad told me that his helmet was completely destroyed so it can be that it saved his life (or at least saved him from much more complicated fractures on the face).

Thanks for that Markus,
I am at home now. Out of hospital yesterday and just a waiting game for flexibility and strength now.
I wasn't wearing a full face, i was wearing a Fox Transition skate helmet which judging by the damage to it - saved my grey matter!
My insurance is with HCC MIS - the company discussed in the "IHI Bupa stopped covering BASE" thread, and so far so good with them.
I hope everyone is doing well at your end and recovering speedily.
I'll get your book to you soon, just a couple more pages to go!
:)
