Re: [6907] Perigee Pro Question
I ordered mine with the stitching removed on the bottom flap so it would not snag my parachute on a wingsuit deployment, if that is what you mean by bottomless. When unpacked and open, all the flaps lay flat on the floor like a table cloth, nothing sticks up... It makes packing harder, but is an option you can ask for.

A friend just purchased an used rig. His has the bottom flap sewn traditionally. I packed it and found it easier to pack for sure as you can settle the canopy in the bottom of the tray. But he plans on wingsuiting, so I am going to do a simple surgery to make it also "bottomless" like mine.

this is the only thing i dislike about my ppro as well. it still has that damned bottom wall and sidewalls, and my mentor was hellbent on NOT having those, and he grained that shit into my head. i was gonna pop some stitching down there but i think im just gonna sell it and go back to the helium.........

You sound like some of the people I know, who will buy a lampshade, then paint the walls to match the lampshade, then buy a whole new house because the lampshade was the wrong size for the house.

You can remove the stitching in less than 10 minutes (I could do it quicker than filling out an order form for a new rig).

And, you could have asked the PPro simply to not have them when you first ordered it (if you ordered it new). An option they have...

Just sayn'. ;-) But, I kind of like your excuse to buy something new. hehehe.

Re: [tdog] Perigee Pro Question
i am VERY partial to the helium. i just fucking love everything about it, simple as that, plus i like the leg pouch pockets where i normally keep medical supplies, flashlight, knife, etc..........

i know i could order the removable leg pouches from badseed, but again, i absolutely love the helium

I hate the "bottomless" corners personally. Funny how for some people that is a selling point and others a reason to buy something else. Its all what you are comfortable with.

exactly... i think its more something psychic. i think for some people its important that the canopy comes out "cleaner" and flat without corners

... just my 2 cents
