The Darwin Awards Fatality List is a chronological list of fatalities of extreme athletes who protect our gene pool by making the ultimate sacrifice of their own lives. Darwin Award winners eliminate themselves in an extraordinarily idiotic manner, thereby improving our species' chances of long-term survival.

Most of these athletes died doing what they loved. They went too close to the edge and messed up :) They knew this and took the risk and paid the price for pushing way too hard.

Posthumously:

- They took full responsibility for their actions.
- They wanted to thank everyone for their support. 99% of fans have been very very nice to them :) For the other 1% they agreed 100%, they were total dumb asses:)
- They were human and humans make mistakes.
- They were sorry for what ever inconvenience they have caused anyone...

That's Honorable Mention for sure! Here's another one: this athlete knew the risk and took it anyway. He used a lighter to see inside the tank of a fuel truck to see if there's any fuel left. He found that well the answer is very simple.

This is not his first time getting hurt and it will not be his last. He pushes it, always has and always will. One day he will die and he just hopes that when he does, it will be doing something he truly loves - looking inside fuel tanks using a lighter.
