i'm new to the community, and was wondering if someone would be kind enough to post a list of terms and abbreviations used along with their meanings for me to learn? much appreciated

I'm not sure I have time to think of a bunch of terms and abbreviations, but if you post up a list you'd like defined, I can try to answer the questions.

It's going to be a lot more work for someone to come up with a comprehensive list than it is for you to ask specifically about the terms you run into.
