Sure.
It's a 100% solid container that was designed over 10 years ago and is still produced.
The notable feature is the never updated wrap-around pin cover flap. It's a simple design that most other makers of similar design have went on to update with a top tucking tab (either a tuck in like on the last version of the Warlock or the DP or the top tucking tab like on the Vertex2 or ZAK)

The PPro also has loops built in so you can attach removable D/O rings to it.

I own a PPRO, and have owned most others. My current preference is a Gargoyle for an everyday one-does-everything rig.

Re: [freeflyJoe] Perigee Pro
I did read them before starting this thread, a little personal insight goes a long ways also, I am bit of a digger when looking for information and spend quite a bit of time considering what I see, hear and read. all information is welcome.

Call marty and ask him yourself if you have questions. 530-823-5222. I have had 2 pros, a profile, and a prefile, all have been great, and havent failed or shown any wear. Marty is all about attention to detail. If you order a pro, marty is the one who sews it, inspects it, and puts all the finishing touches on it. Nothing bad to say about any manufacturer, just happen to like asylum myself.

Wow. Super great feedback. "Black death". WTF.
U have zero reasoning behind a very negative response to an honest question of a rig that has been tested, proved more than airworthy, then tested again and again for MORE than a decade. Way to be wrong! What have you done to improve the sport in any way? ... Please correct if I'm wrong, but you're a douche.

Re: [freeflyJoe] Perigee Pro
i went from a helium to a ppro, the only thing i dont like is the fact that it has sidewalls and the BOC wall. im thinking about buying another helium, however the ppro has the loops in the MLW for d-rings when you want to do paragliding/speedwing cutaways which rock
Shortcut
Re: [TransientCW] Perigee Pro
the helium should have those tersh-loops too.

Have you, or anyone else seen something useful in this type flap design? It seems kind of useless to me? Has anyone had a specific instance where that extra flap on top did something that you noticed?

yes.
For those who route the excess bridle from the inside of container to the top of the top pin (instead of between pins), and leave the slack exposed, they have a much higher change of catching that excess on something during a climb (most on Antennas) and popping both of their pins. A friend did just that when he caught the piece of bridle coming out of the bottom of his container on a piece of clamp holding a cable on a tight-ish A.

Hey; that looks like my old container. And yeah, popping pins halfway up an A sounds terrifying

also something I noticed with most ppros...

the canopy is left exposed at the top corners, mostly a looks thing I guess. although I think there yoke is the best designed out of all of them. Never seen a PPro fit the shoulders like shit.

never caught that top velcro'd piece of bridle on anything, I think its more likely to catch those exposed top corners on stuff.

Agreed. It takes a little more finessing than some other containers in order to not have the canopy exposed. But I suppose if someone has that as their single container they will fall in the proper habits within a few dozen packjobs.

What I do notice when looking at a lot of different PerigeePro's is that many people have the grommets showing - in other words their closing loops are pretty damn long OR the PerigeePro has the grommets set too close to the flap edges. Not sure if it's caused by the user or product.

Re: [vid666] Perigee Pro
mine always had exposed grommets, and my closing loops were super short.

i wonder if kathy could sew those tersh loops into a harness for a custom order...............only one way to find out

as far as I know, the tersh loops are built in by default on the Gargoyle/Helium

that would be divine, and i will be ordering another HE if thats the case

Re: [godfrog] Perigee Pro
Good container. The thing with asylum is they don't change things just to have something 'new' for people to buy. What they make and sell works.

Re: [TransientCW] Perigee Pro
Hi,

I'm currently trying to set up my PPro for speedwing cutaway, and i'm interested in any information I can find about it. This tread hanged my attention, but since i'm french, I didn't understand very well what you intended with "built in loops" and "D/O rings". Would you be so nice to explain how you can set up the Ppro for speedwing cutaway, maybe even with a picture ? It would be greatly appreciated ! Cool

Greetings

Great rig... had terrible luck with customer service. You still can't go wrong with it. 800 jumps on mine now. <3 the ACE

I have 2 Perigee Pro's and love them. They are a simple tried and true design. Thats what attracted me to the Perigee pro was the simplicity of the design. My oldest one was built in 2008 and has about 150 jumps on it. It still looks brand new.
