Seriously, there are some awesome people here and most, if not all, are interested in helping you not die BASE jumping.
That being said, I would not put a whole lot of faith in online reviews of skydiving schools because most of the people writing the reviews are *not* experienced jumpers.
Just about any dropzone can do a great job of teaching you to jump and do so safely, but other things come into play. Like how they treat their newbies *after* they finish their student training. By that, I mean will you be able to find experienced people to jump with you or do they just let you go and forget about you?
I suggest spending a day at each DZ you are considering. Just hang out and watch. Talk to jumpers. Is it a busy place where you can make a lot of jumps or a slow place where it is very difficult to make loads? What about the prevailing weather conditions year-round? A DZ that typically has high winds will make it very difficult to get student jumps.
Do the aircraft look well-maintained? How are the facilities? Do they have load organizers for experienced jumpers?
Check 'em all out yourself and then decide.
