Need Help with computer stuff
Hey guys I'm currently trying to build my own computer and I've read a while bunch of stuff about compatibility between parts but I just want to be absolutely certain that the parts I'm going to order are going to work together. So if anyone is good with computers and could spare a minute let me know and I'll PM you the links to my parts. Thank you

How about posting your parts list?

That will be a badass system. I don't see any compatibility issues but I am curious about the single hard drive setup. Do you have a data backup plan in mind?

Thank you guys and I hadn't thought much about getting 2 hard drives I generally partition my hard drives but do you think it would be better to have 2? I really want a solid computer so any constructive criticism is appreciated

You have put together a solid and expandable platform with lots of computing, graphics, and electrical power; plenty expansion slots and internal and external connectors, and the possibility to add a shitload more memory.

With a capacity of up to 2TB of data, some of it is going to be really important to you so I would strongly suggest having a data backup plan. Hard drives are relatively inexpensive so having an additional drive as backup space is not expensive.

I have not used them but there are online backup services, e.g., Carbonite.

You need to do something to protect your data.

Forgot to add:

A site I use when shopping for computer parts is pricewatch.com. There may be better sites out there (post 'em if you know 'em!) but pricewatch is an excellent way to comparison shop for parts.

looks pretty sick

ive always preferred barebone systems as long as certain components arent super cheap because they sometimes throw in piece of shit brand dvd writers, etc.

im also a fan of AMD processors over intel. your system looks like it will be good to go though
