we need to grab this video before Jean Boenish pulls it. It sucks that she has prevented so much magnificantly cool stuff cannot be shown to the rest of the world, which is in opposition to Carl's vision, IMHO.

Why would Jean pull it?

Did Carl have something to do with this film? I didn't see any evidence of it. As for your comment: Obviously Carl trusted his wife to do what was right with his footage and we are in no place to tell her otherwise. Isn't there a feature length film coming out soon about Carl and featuring a huge amount of his footage? Not to mention the amount of money involved with transferring his film to digital footage and in the process saving/preserving his work for future generations. Did you pay for that? What rights do you, youtube, or any of us other than Jean have to any of his footage? None at all. IMHO - Get over it.

I don't see it as Carl's vision ... at all. In fact, it runs counter to everything he wrote about or said publically. And it's only recently that the digitization project has been attempted. And how many times have you met Jean? Then maybe you're correct, his vision of bringing BASE to the world should be quashed.
