Re: [epibase] Nashville bust
Reckless endangerment has long been a charge filed on building jump busts.
If you have ever been on a building at 3:00am, you know that you
A) wait until any automobiles aren't coming. You wait at the exit until you get the perfect "window"
B) If there is anyone walking around beneath you, you wait until they leave, unless they are homeless. You never jump with somebody directly beneath you.
Just sit tight and wait. If a couple of cop cars are sitting in a parking lot across the street eating donuts for four hours, come down and do it later. I have done that.
Object preservation is second only to life preservation. It has always been that way.
If you do jump during the day over busy streets and sidewalks, you are a jackass who just wants to get on TV.
edit: Read the story, and seems like they were cautious. Reckless endangerment is pretty bogus.
