i am not a basejumper, just a skydiver with 36 jumps so i dont know much about wingsuit and base.
i watched a lot of base videos latly and i noticed that jeb corlis base exits ( or how do you call it ? ) with wingsuit are quite unstable in the first few seconds. other jumpers are completly stable when they jump. when he jumps i often see him wave around with hands and legs whilst others just glide. i saw he uses quite a large wingsuit , does it have something to do with that ?

he just sucks at base jumping.

Everyone jumps different,

you can see it in long time base jumpers that they fall into a groove where they are use to exiting a usual way...

some have a solid exit others are lazy because they are so use to there exit jumps , it dont make them any shitter or any better .. just that they fall into the category of thats how they exit..

If you exit completely stable, you're just a glider - you have no thrust. You don't fly, you just glide. When you wave your arms and legs, you produce thrust, just like birds. You don't just glide, you fly like a bird. Eventually, Jeb will build enough muscle not only to fly like a bird, but to land like one, too - by flapping wings and running out.

btw in no way did i want to criticize jeb, i think he is a great basejumper, and i realy like his videos.
i just thought that the type of suite he uses couses it to be unstable at exit.

Hey give the kid a break. He'll catch on after he gets a few jumps under his belt.

These days I seem to always exit saying "don't suck.....don't suck...."
