I agree, time too make the site recognize what a link is. If anything, I think the more work we can give the administrator, the better

Having a facebook type URL paster would be god-awful on a forum. Which is why you'd find it difficult to find a forum that did. It would be messy in a forum layout.

I really don't see the big issue with making URLs clickable, you have to press 1 button, or type 8 characters. http://*** It's very common practice on many forums.

I think it would probably be best if it made all www.* clickable automatically, which I want to try to get done some time anyway. But the whole thing is pretty simple.

And as for the subject line, if you're talking about changing it when posting a reply. Simply look at the top of the input box that says "Subject" and change it to what you want. If one wants to edit a subject line after posting, it may well depend on whether or not your reply has been responded to yet or not.

EDIT: Because I used three x's as a place holder where I was using a URL example and that could end up being NSFW.
