Looking for suthern cliffs
Hey all.

What cliffs are there in the suthern areas in the world. Im planning on a trip to fly wing suit from a big cliff in january for a small film project. I need a place that is logisticly possible somewhere with stable weather. hopefully a bit warmer than europe.

Anything big enough to do about a minute in freefall with a wing suit and with a possible landing.

I have been thinking about South Africa, but what in SA is good enough to jump?

please if you know anoything. send me an email or a PM. (the forum isnt a great place to spread sights).
I would also need ideas for possible base-guides for these places.

my email is: carlmartingunnar@gmail.com

Look at BASE416's base page. He and Yuri and John vav did a bunch of wing suit jumps in South Africa. If you really want to go south, look for big walls in Antarica.

But I did not need to use the whistle for over 1 and 1/2 years now...
I am really getting better with my tree landings :-) when I have one I try fall to the ground so I can rescue myself without having to blow my whistle for help Smile

He was dangerous before.

Especially to handicapped people who ride those motorized buggies around in the grocery store. Tongue

Tom, don't use the "H-word" in in the forum.... its rude.
They are called "Retarded".

Anyway those motorized buggies are not for the permanently ill people (PC as fuck). They are for extremly fat people. (not so PC).

still only got a few suggestions.

Whats good in South Africa?

There is a sketchy but awesome cliff in rio and a few more if you're willing to drive outside of the city for 7-8 hours.

Re:Looking for suthern cliffs
there are cliffs in northern mexico.
if you flew to houston, we could drive 8 hours and get some nice legal cliffs.
they are not 1 minute flight material though.
30 ish seconds on two of them, and one lower exciting one with what they call a ruta vertigo. basically a vertical via ferrata to access. but that one in particular is only about a 700' wall and about 1200' altogether.
