Can you normally jump in April with no problems??

Also what is the best place to stay to meet up with other jumpers in the area?? I might be making a solo mission and from what I hear you need 2 cars.

Yea there is usually people there over easter weekend. Contact Maury for details on a nice place to stay I am sure there will be plenty of people there though, enjoy.

Go to the bar next to the main landing area : http://www.barparetezebrata.it/ and you'll be fine. You can meet some jumpers there fore sure.

2012 eastern will be from 06. April until 09. April. There will be a lot of people jumping at Brento during that time. First load is usually around 06:00 am, departure from the bar zebrata.

2 cars is good when your atlest 2 ppl.

But there is really no need for that. You can take a taxi to the top :)

The bar is closed for the month of January, annual holidays.

It will reopen on Feb 1st.

Posted this in another thread but this one makes more sense so here it is twice-- my bad.

Ill be at ITW June 7-10. I will be renting a car from Verona Porta Nuova train station when I get into town early evening on the 7th, but splitting cost of any portion of the trip would obviously be beneficial so if anyone wants to share rides, lodging, whatever, hit me up. Im travelling solo for this portion of my trip and would love to jump with people. Well, I guess I actually dont know where the exit point is either haha, so yeah, I definitely want to meet up with other jumpers.

And Ill either be at LB the following weekend, or back at ITW if it makes sense from a time perspective but Im coming from pretty far so LB is better for me for a short weekend.


Also, if I dont arrive into town until late at night (between 10pm-12am) will I be able to find a place to stay in Brento or nearby? How late is that pizza place open and are they usually booked solid?

You should go. Brother Randy and I went in 05 in May or June, but had a great time. Tracy Walker showed up at midnight and did his first jump in 4 years after suffering a broken neck. Stayed in a campground where we rented new trailers each slept 4 for abaout $75 a night. The Italian jumpers treated us like kings. It was a real honor to see how well these guys received us. It helped we had ancienta BASE numbers. It's a nice place, big pool and not far from Dro where you start up. Was a Great restraunt called the Spagetti something between the town and the campground. Great cliff, short hke, land by a bar. Can't get much better.

Im renting a car in Stuttgart, Germany and driving to Arco on Friday June 8, then driving back on Sunday. If anyone is nearby, and/or on the way and wants to share a ride to ITW to jump Saturday, then hit the morning load on Sunday before the drive back hit me up so we can split gas, and save time/money vs taking a train. Im not in much of a hurry so am willing to go a little out of my way to pick up another jumper or two.
