Ah! The Ballet Rail Day. That was a fun day. We talked about the ballet shots the day before. Apparently she always wanted to do it so after talking about it, she broke out her old point shoes and a cheap disposable tutu and went for it. I'm standing next to my friend Derek who took the shots. I helped her balance and stepped away.
Here's a challenge for you. Try standing on your toes in that position. It's quite a bit harder than it appears. Now do it on a rail in the cold and wind.
It was freezing that day so after she landed, I jumped down with some warm clothing.
So Long Holly ... You were my friend and I'll miss you.
