From the news clip it seems as if she may have attempted to free fall a static line only type of jump? I'm sorry to hear about this... Condolences to the friends and family.

Condolences to all Family and friends. She was a nice girl, only met her a handful of times, but seemed great. Anyone know if it was the upper or lower exit just out of curiosity?

They would not have been able to get to her in the time they did if it was the upper exit.

Yea, sorry, should have thought about that. Was just wondering about the 150ft thing the story was talking about. Couldn't remember seeing anything very close at the lower exit, but it's been a while since I've been there. Doesn't matter anyway, bummer any way you look at it.

Anybody have any idea on whether or not the office conducting the investigation knows what they are doing? She seemed to be a pretty dialed jumper, just wondering if the gear will be inspected properly, and if the tailgate, primary stow, and all that yadda yadda was still connected...

I hate the media's instant speculations.

Cheers to Ellen for trying to show the media a positive side of the sport despite the tragic circumstance. I still don't see how they can continue to get the height of the cliff wrong and then tell the public that we have bad odds of survival.
