anyone with experience with blackjack canopies that have zp on the leading edge and without
is there much difference with forward speed and flair?
is it worth the extra 200 dollars?

The difference becomes much more pronounced as the canopy ages. Brand new, it's hard to tell much difference. When the canopy has 400 jumps on it, the difference is pretty major. Basically, it makes the canopy "fly like new" longer, before it starts to feel clapped out.

If you're an experienced jumper (and you are) and have your packing down, I think the ZP is well worth the extra money.

In one word, YES. I resisted vents for a very long time until I started getting interested in really low stuff. Making a landing area with room to spare from 150 feet is awesome. Youll really notice too on a jump like dragons nest when you start floating and out driving other canopies. I love my ZP BJ

i have both. same sized canopies, both with around 100 jumps each and the zp tends to out fly the non-zp, but not so much that it makes it fly different. that being said, based on a longer life and better overall flight and flare power, i think it's worth the extra money... but i am rich.

regardless, i love blackjacks... they are the shit. (for me)
