Thought you guys might be interested in reading this. If they're looking to attract more tourists, I can think of a better way to generate money (ie. legal BASE jumping from the catwalk.....which we're still working on, but is "on the back burner" so I'm told):

Base jumping would have better overall turn out to the bridge. Lights and a overlook will only do do much to draw people to the bridge and spend money. Base jumpers will spend more time and money around the bridge.

Won't that just bring-in more slack-jawed yokels to hang-out & make bandit jumps less stealthy ?

on the up-side . W. Virginia does need more public parking lots to do Meth. deals in .
