I disagree, but if you want a low opening, roll the shit out of your nose, and pull at 1200. (leave your AAD off)

That's fine, but here's an honest question. What does pulling low on a skydive have to do with it? I jump my skydiving rig skydiving so it would be foolish. I don't have an AAD so I guess I'm good there.

My canopy skills are quite reasonable, I learned most of them skydiving and honed the necessary BASE skills by BASE jumping. It all goes together.

Beyond that, I actually Freefly, do VFS and such, and also teach AFF. It's good stuff. :)

Hook, wasnt referring to you, i was referring to those who view skydiving as lame. If you need some ground rush, pull low. :-) theyre just different beasts. I love both, but for totally different repects, base is just much more intimate, find yourself much more in tune with everthing, skydiving is just fun. Stress free in comparison.

A logical question at this point is... Are you gay?

I see lots of interesting things in there...chest staps, goggles etc. Which dont quite add up to a real skydive. So its smart they have BASE rigs since they are doing a BASE jump from a fixed plane!
