Hello Guys I'm a 18 boy living in china ,its been so hard to reach here. this site . with my poor English (please reply in a Easy English sorry~)

In China there's only one skydiving club. And they only accept tandem jump. no solo jump or wingsuit, So I couldn't do any skydiving at all. So this won't let me reach the 150 time free fall to able do the FJC and in china theres no BASE dealer or people!

I'm sick for the Jump dream. This mean a i have to take a short cut way ,(I know I'm idiot　But I rather put myself in to BASE world than wasting Life time. If I Fell Blame me !)
May I skip the 150 time skydiving ,directly take part in the BASE JUMP? even I want skydiving but in china there noway to do that!

Maybe You will say go the foreign country to learn the FJC.
Infact If I can go outside. I can do the skydiving also it will be no problem with BASE JUMP. Because I can't go out.So I needs some help form expert.
I can buy a secound hands gear from here or from APEX BASE.

After I post this form , i work hard and I did go to Canada for study and make I life first Jump at Skydive Toronto, and did 31 jumps to get my SOLO License of CSPA and still didn't give up the BASE Dream, Still have long way to be come a BASE JUMPER , I still a poor International student study in here is not chap . But I just never stop dreaming about BASE what matter how people say it too early for you to BASE. Hope to I can do a bridge Jump in 2013 summer in china

I am also sick for the BASE JUMP dream. I have advicice for you though - keep the BASE JUMP dream a dream for now and learn the SKYDIVE first anyway you can. Its enough to keep you happy and stimulated and earning your PATH to the BASE JUMP dream!

How well did you do in school? Can you get into a university? Then you could become an exchange student and use that system to go somewhere were you can learn to skydive.

There is a heap of places for you mate..

get a job earn some cash get that cash quit the job move to thailand for 3 months knock out 200 skydives go back home and get another job .... earn cash then quit job go travelling to states and do fjc..

should take about 2-4 years depending on how bad you want the basejumps....

There is no quick way ..

do that and your base jumping in 4 years from now..

sit back and watch youtube and you wont be anything..

Actually I think is rather possible to have such a discrepancy: for what I know China has tons of web restrictions due to tiranny, so surfing foreign web domains needs a little set of web-ninja skills.

Beside that, just an advice from someone who did taste an impact: take your time, take the right time, take no shortcuts.

Come to Northern California. Do a bunch of jumps at Lodi for US $13. When you have 100, ill take you out and teach you some stuff. In exchange, we can scount and jump some stuff in china next time im there.

I think you all missed the point: he can't leave China. He probably doesn't have a passport and probably can't get one. Everyone's responses show the massive differences between the life we as well off (globally speaking) Western BASE jumpers and the reality of life for most of the world. He can't "just get a job, quit, and go to Thailand," nor can he go over to Oregon, Lodi, or any other place you guys are talking about. It's super hella hard for Chinese people to get any kind of visa to the US, tourist, student, or working. It takes what amounts to in local terms as ass-buckets of scratch to make both governments happy and pass go.

Quite the opposite, he did a combination of static line and AFF at a Canadian DZ. He then on to Japan to meet his parents I believe. I do know some more about this jumper (PM me for details)

And China, like much of Asia has a rapidly growing middle class and many countries, like Australia, are relaxing their visa conditions to attract these people and their money.

Congrats on your jump! Looks like a nice bridge, too. Is that one of your local objects? Or did you have to travel to jump that? I know China has A LOT of bridges, take it easy, and you'll have a lot to play with.

If you ever find yourself in the states hit me up. Also if you ever find yourself at the point of being ready for urban jumping I have some beta on some urban jumping in Southeast Asia I would be happy to share with you.

I know some prick is going to come on this thread bitching about you not having enough skydives to be doing what you are doing, and in any other circumstances I would agree, but in this case I would like to preemptively say "fuck that guy". Keep learning in any way you can and try to make up for your lack of canopy experiance by controlling every other aspect of the jump to the highest degree possible. Choose your objects wisely. Spend lots of time considering every aspect of every jump long before deciding to jump it. Seek advise whenever you can and stay safe.

If half of the people getting into base had the determination of this guy I bet there'd be a lot less post on here pussy aching about not being able to find a mentor whin spitting distance of their computer chair.

What ever happened to the Chineese crew that came to Bridge Day in '06 or '07...? From what I remember, they took first, second, and third in the accuracy contest. What happened to the open invite to come to Beijing and BASE jump?
