Re: [jasonnever] whats the charge!!!!!
Maybe it was a ground launch during a nice bright moon night??? Who knows from a legal standpoint? Is ground launching in the canyon illegal? Besides, who would be crazy enough to jump from a perfectly good bridge when there are great hills to ground launch right there?
I would think any one of us hanging in a harness for that amount of time would figure it was time to get some other help as soon as possible if we were running out of options and losing blood flow to extremities.
I was not there, but from what I understand from plenty of other sources it was a tough decision, but it had to be made at the time. Mistakes can happen to anyone, sometimes they might leave you DED or sometimes in a tough predicament where a decision has to be made even if it is unfortunate enough to attract media. Glad no one was hurt.
Oh yea, it's pretty easy to follow the moon calendar or just look outside and I'm pretty sure last night was a pretty bright night.
