Re: [Asgard] New Single pin Summit
The Summit utilizes a single “top” through-loop. This allows the user to compress the top during closing resulting in a much lower profile than a traditional 2-pin container. Moreover, the top through-loop can easily be field converted into a top flap loop. In this way you get the best of both worlds.

Re: [Huck] New Single pin Summit
I asked Steve about it when they were out here during the summer, and he didn't have one on hand.

I've long been a fan of Todd's single pin designs (I have a Prism, a Prism 1.5, and two Prism 2's in service for FJCs right now), so I'm pretty interested in seeing the new one.

Does anyone have pictures? Maybe someone at Bridge Day can take some photos at the trade show and post them?

Re: [mwl88] New Single pin Summit
It seems that it's just a TL with the bottom through-loop removed.

Tom it is NOT a single pin rig. I also talked to Todd about it. Its a TL on top and 3 flap clousre on bottom. It can also be converted to TL or traditional clousure on top

Re: [Huck] New Single pin Summit
Sorry for the confusion here.
It's not a single pin rig. It's a dual pin rig.

The Summit can be configured like a traditional DP, closing loop installed on the top and bottom flap. But the Summit can be field converted (in about two minutes) to a top through loop. The top is then closed using the closing loop from the pack tray (back pad). The bottom loop (closing sequence) remains unchanged.

Re: [Toddshoe169] New Single pin Summit
What's the difference (advantage) of getting a summit over a TL if the TL can be configured the same way?

Also on the TL, the bottom through loop, how does it work? Does the canopy have to be folded a certain way because it seems like the canopy would be in the way. At least it is the way I fold it.
