Shadow vs S-fly Expert
What are main differences? Mainly in terms of ease of flight and controllability Maybe someone compared them in terms of build quality?

Re: [uer16] Shadow vs S-fly Expert
I'm flying a Shadow on a regular basis, and did some skydives in a S-Fly Expert some years back. Both suits are easy to handle in the air for me, but I don't have enough experience with the S-Fly to tell you much about it. The Shadow has a significantly wider legwing, that allows me to walk around or even run almost as good as without a wingsuit.

Re: [uer16] Shadow vs S-fly Expert
I haven't tried the S-Fly. But, I do have a bunch of jumps on a Shadow that I bought. It's a pretty good beginner's suit. The main complaint I have is that the webbing they use comes apart. That is used on the straps for the hands as well as reinforcement for some of the vents.

Most likely thats a suit made around fall last year? We had one bad batch of webbing, and customers experienced fraying after some use. Send me an email at jarno@phoenix-fly.com and those will be replaced free of charge in the factory, or sent to you by mail for a quick sew-up by a local rigger.

Its not an issue on any of the suits made since that time. But as always, in case of a complaint, it will be dealt with accordingly..

The Shadow has more range than the Expert with the same controllability. The stiffer fabric on the Expert holds up a bit better after a few years.

No rear inlets for backflying on the Expert. Some people (including me) had troubles to reach the PC with it. BTW, I have an Expert
