BASE Beginners

Yet another 'Noobie'
Hi Guys,

Just want to introduce myself and hopefully get to get in the right circles with people in my area.

My name is Andrew, I'm originally from the UK, lived in Aruba for 19 years, presently living in the Netherlands for the last 4.

I started AFF in 1999 while on holiday in the States, completed the course and was hooked. Living in Aruba however meant that my jumps were very sporadic and limited to holidays abroad as there was no operation on the island at the time (there is now, dammit!) Crazy

I'm now jumping more regularly , just under a 100 jumps, all the while though I've been lurking and trying to learn as much as possible on here as I've always been excited by BASE and always wanted to get into it. I know I'm not ready yet and need lots more jumps but the fire inside is not going away! Wink

I've been trying to meet people who are into BASE at my dropzone, it seems however that when the subject of BASE is brought up, nobody knows anyone into it. I dunno, maybe I'm just asking the wrong people...

Anyway, if there is anyone in the Netherlands area who is into BASE, please hit me up on PM as I'd like to meet more people who are into it!

I'm a stand-up, level headed dude looking to get into the sport just like you guys once were, so if you're looking for some ground crew assistance or anything else that can get me more involved in the sport, please consider me!

Thanks for reading, stay safe and looking forward to meeting ya,

Andrew.
