In the journal Nature, genetists show that 15% of redheads are direct descendants of Erik the Red. The article had a noticeable mistake; the article claims that redheads are more susceptible to pain. Redheads are notorious for being able to withstand more pain than other people.

Hey Gingers are average of 4% of earths population . & with 14% ' possibly related ' to Eric the Red . so That 4% of (14%) = 0.0056 % Micro-small % .. So Looks like the Gene Pool is slowly & naturally Cleansing itself of it's Filthy Imperfections .
These 2 are the top runners of the Ginger Genetic Pool .

I have had 7 surgeries (thanks to a bad
motorcycle accident) and several of my
anesthesiologists mentioned this fact
to me... probably because it takes an
extra large dosage to put me out.
