Sad news again.

For those who don't speak french, there is nothing much in the article except that it sounds like he went low and impacted with nothing out. This was a wingsuit jump.
No name and all they say is it was a man in his 40's from the department/region of Gard.

What this poll means?

It's a language thing I guess; he must have made a mistake on starting the thread.

It says he jumped WS from l'Aiguille du Varan at 2544 metres and hit a ledge 600 meters lower due to misjudging the terrain. Apparently nothing out.

Quite a few fatalities in France this year....

I was with Fabrice for a wingsuit jump from Varan (Sallanches) on Friday. He impacted after pull under my eyes in the beginning of his flight. Fabrice was one of my best friends, and we've jumped a lot together for many sessions. It was his 8th flight for this one, all perfect from many different spots.
I will give no more details of his accident on any forums, only for the Fatality List.
It is hard. All my thought go to his wife and family and friends.

Im the last of the 3 americans it was nice to meet both of you there. I met Fabrice a few weeks earlier in the dolos it was nice to run in to him again at another exit who would have guessed that would be the last time I could run in to him on a random mountain in the alps. Respect goes out to his friends and family best wishes.
