Other than the GoPro what HD camera are you jumping and what's your thoughts?

I need something for personal use and BASE

cx series is great, i just bought a used 100, but i think there are smaller versions. the only sucky part of the cx series is that they suck in low light. miss that about my hc-5.. but it is small and takes great video.

I'm using Drift HD170. In my opinion much better than GoPro. More low profile, battery lasts hell of a long time (about 6 hours of filming in 1080p), and you have a small screen, remote, zoom, night mode, exposure adjustment etc.

I use both tough, Drift on the helmet and GoPro on hand, belly etc.

How is that night mode working? Care to post any footage shot in the middle of the night with the drift night mode? As the Go Pro absolutely sucks even in the evenings it would be interesting to hear how the Drift night mode works in dark.

I have the Contour Plus, pretty awesome camera. I like it better in every way over the gopro, except the mounts.

Night mode works very well unless it's night :D
It's nothing too fancy, if it's dark, you cannot see anything just like in GoPro, but when it's greyish early evening you can still have a quite decent shot, while GoPro you have just black screen.
