I have heard surprisingly little about how the Venom has been performing. Has anyone reviewed it or compared GPS data against the Apache?

Venom is in the same league with X-Bird and Manta. I don't think you will find a measurable difference in performance between these three.

Apache will glide a bit better, but unlike Venom is not a suit you'd skydive regularly or comfortably.

I disagree.

The Apache performs way above the Venom.

I skydive my Apache on regular bases, Is just getting pass the psychological mind set of having your handle attach to your suit. You also need to be diligent and keep the inner strings connecting the wing suit and the container. People get lazy and they have left there handles floating around and then they have a reserve out.

I have done around 70 skydives with my Apache with no incidents.
