Honestly, we don't give a fuck about stupid crap like this here. Don't ever waste valuable time of BASE jumpers, we count it by seconds, and sometimes even fractions! Try golfers or bowlers, they've a lot of it to waste.

What a coincidence - the awesome "Born To Be Wasted" by 009 Sound System just queued in in my playlist...

I've actually heard a bit about this, sounds pretty cool. I actually shot a video for the Life in a Day film (although didn't make it into the final cut), which I'm guessing was a bit similar with regard to the film part, so I shall try and film if I'm doing a jump that day!

not going to lie, I think I'm going to send something in. Sounds kind of fun, and it would be cool to be a part of something like this just to archive and to pass on. My jumps aren't that cool, and probably wouldn't make some organized film cut, but it sounds like a fun project with a neat theme and a possibility of being kind of cool 20 years down the road. I'm game.
So who are you 11ElevenProject? What's your role?

ill give you a taste of my world! what if i set a video camera up under my glass table in my living room looking directly up, squat, and take a massive dump over the cam with my asscheeks spread far and wide???? this would of course be after a 3 day malt liquor and junk food binge........

I dont mind helping people out and doing charity work and all that, but there has to be some force from the people themselfs.
I mean look at the video, the water is filled with trash. It looks awful, and as she says nobody should live in such conditions.
But how did the trash end up there in the first place?

Is there a monster in the water burping trash?
Dont think so...
So what can the people do about it? Toss more trash in the water or clean it up?
By the looks of it i think they chosed to toss more trash.

I would belive that the city officials would think the same, should we use money on trying to clean up this neighbourhood or on school and education?
The choise is between a bunch of people slowly filling their own grave with trash or children that has a feature?
Hmmm.... tough one.

If they would stop littering and start cleaning up themselfs, maybe people would see it differently.

I actually thought that this was just going to be a time capsule showing what people were doing on this one day. Thought it might be kind of fun. Now I see the light. Thank you all for ruining christmas. :)

How is it a time capsule? What is a "time capsule", anyway? Will they put the footage on a USB stick and stick it up their rectums in hope that in year XXXX somebody will find it? In year XXXX people (or aliens) will be able to easily find pretty much any footage ever uploaded, for any particular day, including 11/11/11. 11/11/11 is only special for someone with the brain size indicated by little heart on this picture:



These people not only waste their time, they waste the time of "individuals from 196 different countries, speaking over 2000 languages".

If we only talk about the video part, it sounds like a cool idea.
Could be fun to watch, if anyone wants to submit skydiving/basejumping videos, it would be cool.

But i dont like the idea of helping people that dont help themselfs.

A homeless person begging for money while injecting drugs? No thanks.
But a homless person that (seems) to want to change, no problem.

Or as one of my workmates, he is heavily overweight.
Went trough one of those surgerys so that he cant eat more than one potato, that was back then.
He did not change his eating habbits, still eat junk, and has stretched the stomach enough to eat a whole pizza.
Great use for taxpayers money
