Thinking about a trip starting about the second week of october... good idea or sketchy weather and winds? Will the tram be running?

Weather in generally is jumpable all year in LB so shouldn´t be a problem. October can be very good since it starts to get cooler than summer, not that high thermal winds during the days. Depending on the year it can also start to get quite cold on the mountains but generally you should not expect any snow yet in oct. Cable cars and trains are operating normally.

Hey Markus, whats the valley like at xmas? How is hiking in the snow and do the cable cars run? Is there many jumping at this time of year?

There are lots of jumpers during xmas and new year. So there are normally good paths to exits. In a case of a heavy snowfall, someone have to be the first one to clear them though. Cables run normally, as the skiing season is on.

I think it is funny that you post these questions in the internet forums, but don't ask me, Mike or any of your tons of other friends that have jumped there in all months of the year that you interact with on a regular basis in normal life.

November weather good too? Trying to decide between Nov & Dec for my trip...?

The weather in LB generally is jumpable all year. Unlike many other spots, there is no really clear "good" and "bad" time of year but normally all year is "good" time. Of course in nov or early dec the weather starts to get colder and you can maybe have some frost or even snow up at exits but if you are fine with that it should be no problem to jump.
