Re: [base283] Good bridges in Europe?
Well I did my first antenna jumps with ha friend that just had a couple of jumps
I jumped Kjerag, took the course there but I can't really ask any of them.

So I don't have a Mentor or a Instructor. Experiencet jumper don't really want to take on new jumper.
So that's a catch 22 for my, becourse I really would like to learn everything I can in this sport

check out highestbridges.com

Google earth is a good way to get an ok look at what it is like underneath the bridge too. Other than that, take time to travel and recon for yourself. You should be able to find some experienced dudes who are willing to help you.

Why is that? Generally experienced people I´ve met are pretty open to help and share the knowledge as long as the person asking for help has proper attitude and approach. Not ttrying to be judgemental here but if all the experienced jumpers in your area are telling you "NO" when you ask for help, maybe it´s time to look into mirror and think "why won´t they help me?".

Well If I ask experience jumper and I have done that, they have
told me about object and so on, so there is nothing wrong with what I see in my mirror Wink but that is not the same as having a mentor in my book

That´s good that you have people around to help you! But your original posting was :

I wounder if anyone here has any good adwise of any bridges in Europe?

so if you already have experienced jumpers giving you advice on objects, why ask some anonymous people on the internet about it? Or if you are searching for a mentor instead of advice on objects. maybe you should post something like "looking for a mentor" and not asking about good bridges. Like you also seem to understand, mentoring someone is a bit more than telling where the good bridges are.

Re: [maretus] Good bridges in Europe?
The experiece jumper I talk to, only jumped antennas and in Norway
And they don't jump any more, I have asked them about briges and they did not know, so thats why I ask here

Re: [MarkusMickelsson] Good bridges in Europe?
half the fun of BASE jumping is exploring, researching and discovering jumps on your own. asking other jumpers on a chatroom to just barf up as many details as possible so you don't have to try is sorta wierd. there's a thing called google earth and a car, it's magic! good luck.
