Container Advice Needed
I'm getting sick of my old velcro rig and want to invest in a nice pin rig. Any suggestions on rigs and what you like and dislike about particular containers?

Re: [460] Container Advice Needed
I have a Perigee Pro and an Apex DP. I like my Apex DP A lot better. I like the way the pin flap is designed better and I feel like its easear to tuck the bridal when im going handheld on a solo.

I do 2 pin conversions for $150 in custom colors if you wanted to go that route.

Nice, I`ve done the same and it works just fine :) I made some other modifications also to make it more up to date since the Perigree pro by now is a dinosaur on the market.. no offense :) Bottom container loop, smoother top flap and open bottom for smooother openings on those horizontal fast tracks!

I do it here in Norway for those local velcrorig folks wanting to upgrade

I have two Gargoyles and love them.
You are more than welcome to come
visit and do a couple jumps on one.

Re: [kcollier] Container Comments
I have owned, jumped, and/or helped
my friends pack & jump all of the
modern 2-pin rigs made in the USA.
They are ALL well made and I would
not hesitate to jump any of them.

I honestly chose Gargoyle because the
company Morpheus is the only one that
is located in Florida. When I bought my
first new rig Rob (RIP) invited me to his
house/shop, measured me myself, and
spent two hours patiently answering ALL
of the dumb question I had.

I chose Morpheus for my 2nd rig partially
due to that customer service and a nice
repeat customer discount, but mostly
because I was very happy with the fit,
feel, and function of my 1st Gargoyle.

On the second rig I had the riser covers
modified, which was my only minor gripe
with the first rig. I like the design of the
pin cover better than some of the others.

Lastly, I like the bridle routing on my rigs.
I always run the bridle out between the 2
pins and then close them based on the
type of jump I am doing: for stowed jump
I close the top then bottom, for handheld
I close the bottom then top so I never
need to tuck the bridle at the exit point.

Re: [GreenMachine] Container Comments
no base for comparison myself either, however i have owned a gargoyle, and now a helium. i have packed up other rigs, but so far i REALLY love the morpheus rigs. at first i really hated my helium because i struggled with the bottomless corners, and also the closing sequence fucked me up. im to the point where not only do i feel great about closing the container and stowing the bridle neatly, but my canopy is now broken in nice and almost falls into place with the folds.

i like how low profile the helium is, and though i havent used the bottom of tray closing loop yet, it is there for when i start to get into big walls. its a solid rig and i definitely recommend it.

great customer service from kathy as well
