just a few days ago we had a massive rockslide of about 10-15000 cubic metres of rock fall into the fjord, causing a 4 foot tsunami of about 7-8 waves,. knocking out communications in the area...

here is a simple reminder for anyone travelling here this season that the klubb house will be out of card facilities and you need cash for the base klubb

ATTENTION:If you are travelling to lysebotn(kjerag) to base jump, There was a avalanche in the fjord and has knocked out credit card facilities at the stavanger base klubb, please bring atleast 5000 nok to pay for base jumping operations, punchcard registration, the lines are down at the klubbhouse.... you can still pay accomodation at the white house and hostel on your card but need cash at klubb thank you...

It was on the side of smell wall between kjerag exit 4 and smellvegen exit 3.... it cut the fibre optic cable from stavanger to lysebotn....

we nearly lost out boat due to the high waves and issues with the 7 small tsunami waves
