if you had a velcro rig that had flaps to fit a 250 canopy and a larger one to fit a 300 canopy. could you not buy or have made an even larger size one to fit say a 310 to 325 0r so canopy?
I have done it to several rigs in the past. It works as long as you only try to compensate a one size margin (lets say from a 245 built to a 265 volume). Therefore we took the same lengh of the shrivel but widened it for 1,5 or 2 inches.
Much more important is that your spare shrivel matches towards the velco on the intended rig. Not every type of velcro is reasonable compatible here.
Re: [illwreckyourbox] velcro rigs and shrivel flaps size
... better you ask this question to a manufacturer but I think it's not worth the try and to much improvised effort and work compared towards the prize of a used or even new 2-pin rig out there on the market.
