Aug 2, National Parks in the US, what happens if the Feds go into limbo purgatory? National Parks locked down? Skeleton crew of most essential personnel?

Looks like we get to have this discussion, again. I think the standard replies are:

"I'm driving my car through the fuckn gate to El Cap! Fuck the government! No one will be working anyways" ...followed by the revelation that NPS is basically Judge Dredd and they are essential to protecting smokey bear and the endangered pine cone from the barefoot hippies, bear poachers and those dreaded rock jumpers.

or...

"I'll pay $20 to jump Yosemite, that's $20 dollars more than the government morons have right now. Why not take it, they could put it towards the debt!"

What a joke, again.

Wow, what a great idea...but that would make too much sense, so of course it won't happen.

the FAA has run out of funds.

Congress has not bothered re-authorizing it.

I have not heard of flight delays, yet.
