Has anyone suffered with any shoulder problems/ re- occurring shoulder dislocation?

Lots of experience with this problem...5 surgeries total with 3 on the left and 2 on the right. 2 seperate injuries for the two shoulders has equated to a lot of physio...All I can say is be careful if you do not have it repaired, my shoulder dislocated in freefall (skydive)after already having had a surgery to repair it...that situation really sucked and on a BASE jump (terminal, don't think you will have an issue with subterminal) I think things would go south real fast. On the other hand I have almost 900 skydives and a little over 50 BASE (All SD with a maximum of 3 sec delay...) jumps and haven't had any dislocations since skyjump #27. (I'm knocking on wood right now...) Like I say I have since had 2 more surgeries to repair that shoulder. My thoughts are you won't have trouble until you hit terminal and likely won't have an issue there either unless you were doing aerials or the like (barrel rolls are what got me, tried a french roll...) that would put your shoulder in a vulnerable position. Freeflying kicks the sh*t out of my shoulders as does swooping but alas that is life.

Funny story, Jeb came over and I went to meet him at German Eddy's place, And the physiotherapist came along. Actually she drove me there. She thought I was joking about Jeb and the crabs eating him alive. Jeb, without provocation told the story and then harped on about his recovery sayin how much he hated physiotherapists. Not knowing that he was speakin in front of basically the top dog in physiotherapy in southern germany. I didnt say anything to imply otherwise. But that situation rocked.
