Pressurized Tube3
Wanting to know if anyone here has had any direct experience with a Pressurized Tube3 tracking suit? It looks like it has great features and is a little cheaper than others.

Any info appreciated.

Re: [BigfcknG] Pressurized Tube3
if you honestly want solid advice for you, I'd recommend a little more effort.

fill out your profile.
introduce yourself and describe your experience, how/what you jump, your goals, experience, etc.
maybe express gratitude and humility.
even consider offering to help, buy beer, etc.

without information about YOU, how can they recommend appropriate gear for YOU?

sadly, this is all too common. users pop up, put in relatively zero effort, and expect those with knowledge to treat them like equals. another jumper refers to it as the "entitlement generation."

It might be difficult to find anyone here with direct experience with the tube3, as far as I know it is very new model and has only been in production for short period of time. I would recommend to contact the manufacturer directly to get contact info to some of their test jumpers. I saw one of the members from the austrian crew jumping a prototype last winter in LB, suit looked very nicely done and on the performance side looked very comparable to the PF tracking suit.

Just out of curiosity, when you say "is a little cheaper than others", what are the others you are referring to? Checking from their website the price for tube3 is 490 eur (http://www.pressurized.at/app/download/1431846116/pricelist_040711.pdf?t=1309777160) and the PF tracking suit is 415eur (http://www.phoenix-fly.com/products/price_list_).

Re: [BigfcknG] Pressurized Tube3
dude!

you also started a thread inquiring about a BASE FJC!

good luck finding anyone that would advise you to buy one of these suits to take to a FJC.

based on these 2 threads, you appear to be on an ego infused path to injury or worse. you come off as someone who has not even taken the baby steps called skydiving.

even your username screams attitude! ego and attitude probably are factors in the recent spate of injuries and deaths at the Swiss valley. locals there fear the authorities might close the valley.

true, I do not know you (because you have withheld so much). you could have thousands of skydives, but then you probably would know BASE jumpers who could advise you without venturing on the internet.

in sum, I could be wrong, but you appear to be the type of person whose actions imperil known BASE sites. yet, you expect help? really?

yeah, I know, you are special and it will be different for you... Unsure

Re: [wwarped] Pressurized Tube3
Who said anything about taking the suit on my FJC? I didnt... Its for a friend. I already have a PF suit. Regarding all the other assumptions about me,yeah dude, wrong. I have a mentor, good friends with plenty of experience guiding me and giving me advice so ease up a bit. Two posts in and its a flame fest.

I dont know what Bigfckn_g suggests to you, but im 6'4" and my first name is Garry, so no more mystery. When I created my profile I had almost no skydive experience, let alone BASE experience, so I never bothered to fill anything out. I did three years research before I made my first post here, unlike others.

The people who were in it for more than a little flaming PM'd me and set me straight on a thing or two and that is appreciated.

Maretus: Thanks for the info, its actually for a curious friend who is internet illiterate. Regarding the price comparison, I got my Euros and $$s mixed up. DERP Crazy

That is very different to the normal life. If your life is in danger, than there is no money to save! Base283 is absolutely right.

Re: [BigfcknG] Pressurized Tube3
I can only go by what YOU say. without complete information it is easy to have an incomplete picture. that means my impression risks being wrong.

if you are approaching BASE correctly, cool & good luck.

other potential jumpers can learn from this exchange, if they bother lurking!

Re: [wwarped] Pressurized Tube3
since we all know that it´s more the pilot than the suit, this list doesn´t say a lot, but the guy who got disqualified in round2 cuz of line crossing (peter *****) was in a tube3 and the times he flew in round 1+2 would have let him fight for the win.

In case that one is skinny and taller that would mean one could track further than the others?Smile

Taller jumpers most definitely
have a greater fall rate range.

Since this thread got hijacked, I'll bring it back. I've seen and jumped the Tube 3. It's nice; it's large and powerful and very well built. Here's two pictures of it -- one in the air and one close up of the sleeve to give an idea of its quality. If anyone is interested in demoing one in Northern California from September on, PM me.

Don't hate on the Multicam Apache, bro.

And the Apache isn't for demoing...that was just a special deal for a certain individual whose canopy went through the branches of an Interior Live Oak and a California Scrub Oak.

Anyone with clean trousers can demo the Tube3.

Re: [BigfcknG] Pressurized Tube3
I recieved my Tube 2 this spring, haven jumped the 3 but this is what I can say about the 2... It is really well built and a solid suit, with a nice thought for details both on the inlets, the reinforcements and the inner "ankle gaiters". The inlets are quite big and stiff and it gives almost instant pressurization from the exit. Compared to my PF pants I would definitely say it has more power and if you are a good tracker that can handle your pants you will get great output from them (My friends who have tried the suit say the same). They are quite large when inflated and combined with the jacket (which is quite tight) this is a good combination for steep, fast tracking Smile I doubt investing in a suit from pressurized will be a waste of your money. And its fun to have something different from everybody else.
And rest assured, they will be more and more common on exit points in the future because this is solid work

Big respect for this jump. Since the first videos came out from this exit, I've been wondering if it can be tracked. Looks like this question has now been answered. :) Amazing effort from the Presussrized guys, full 10 points!

I think we agree that it is about respect.

I personally respect all those that have worked hard to develop knowledge and products. many users have worked hard to fill this site with articles and posts.

in my mind, they have earned respect.

you seem disappointed in my post, and I suspect you think I failed to show him respect and take him seriously. I would counter, has he earned it? he had not provided anyone with any information to let them speak to his level and provide advice customized to his situation. that, and other posts indicated he has not yet jumped.

I contend that seeking random facts is NOT learning. learning involves being able to assimilate facts into a meaningful whole. without a proper background to understand, collecting random facts about BASE all too frequently is a death wish.

I respected the OP enough to try to dissuade him from foolishly putting himself at risk. blindly answering his query would imply I'm more interested in showing how smart I might be rather than show concern for the OP.

I'm also confidant you won't see it that way. I'm not even sure you will read this in a timely fashion. that is a shame. if you became more active on this site, you might help change the tone. only users that post can do that. (this last post doesn't strike me as overly constructive, btw.)

Re: [wwarped] Pressurized Tube3
The concern was much appreciated, but as stated above, people take every chance they can on this site to jump down peoples throats at will, assuming that every new poster is a YouTube whuffo. I didnt feel the need to do the whole virtual meet and greet, nor did I think I should feel obliged to fill out my personal profile. And I was interested in skydiving it, having done almost 60 on my PF suit now. But, now I know how this site works and I keep my questions for my mentor for fear of persecution.

ANYWAY, my mate ended up buying one and man!!! Those suits are the fuckin SHIT! So well constructed...

I hope it's going well for you.

sadly, many here have seen too many "youTube whuffos." they seem to fail to understand that BASE can also turn ugly rather quickly. sometimes jumpers must fight for themselves, or their jump buddies. they rush in because they lack a measured perspective.

I also suspect this thread has been revived by a user who did a search for this model wingsuit and found this thread. they hoped to find pure information, not information tailored to the questioner. that will always be a point of contention amongst users. should a poster "speak" to a particular user, or the greater community?

oh, and remember, we are blessed to be provided by amazing gear. the manufacturers continually impress.

thus the value of lurking before posting! those who do generally get warmly received. I encourage lurking and reading. most of the answers to a beginner's questions already exist, just waiting to be read.

I'm glad you're catching on!

I've been lurking a couple of years. That is a great jump from the high Eiger, I'm interested in the suit but just for skydiving at the moment.

I was running down this steep hill the other day, kind of like skiing because of all the little rocks, and can totally understand the dream of flying quickly next to the wall like that Laugh
