Hey all. My family is planning a trip to HI this winter and I think I'm going to tag along. They're planning on doing a week on the big island and a week on Maui. I can only really afford to go for one week, so I'm trying to decide which Island I'm going to go for. I'm planning on bringing my rig and doing a jump or two, so which island do you think has better jumping? Thanks for the help!

Honestly, your better off leaving the rig at home and enjoying the islands. If your in HI for BASE then those are the wrong islands to be on.

Big Island is way cooler. Leave your rig at home.

If you like showing off, go to Oahu
If you like the rain and green gardens, go to Kaui
If you like shopping ABC stores, Maui is the shit
If you like the smell of hell coming from earth, go to Big island

If you love Hawaiian people, slow style of living, empty beaches, Molokai is THE ONLY Hawaiian island and don't forget to have dinner at the Cook House !

Live the rig @ home, take a bodyboard or a surf !

if you have a speedwing, miniglider or paraglider, you could have some fun on multiple islands. otherwise like everyone else said just go KICK it and enjoy the vibe

That actually would have been my first choice, but unfortunately I don't. Oh well, sand and rum based beverages it is.

of course if your staying in one of the towers its worth bringing im glad i brought mine with me.

there's no BASE jumping on the islands, rum drinks and the vibe are where it's at.

looks fun to me. i'd bring mine. better to have it and not use it, than miss out from not having a rig.
