first injury

Had my first BASE injury yesterday! Floater exit from the top of a 10 foot tree.....took a 1 second delay. But luckily, the ground broke my fall. Fractured T12. Lesson learned...maybe static line next time? Pirate

That's the problem right there. A person falls 16 feet the 1st second of free fall.

yeah, should have worded it as a 0-1 second delay. Although measure the dent i left in the ground, probably comes close to 16ft lol
