Just export it as a subtitle file from paralog.

Than spend about 2 hours choosing which of your 7 GoPro's from the jump you want to use for the actual overlay...

..and another 20hrs to figure out how to speed up the overlay according to the video..

Pedra de Gavea in Brazil. Rock drop is about 120 meters. 2600 foot jump. Still cant figure out the GPS overlay but it looks like the cruise glide is about 2.7 into a fair headwind as you can hear on exit. 5th jump on the suit with some numbers as low as 2.2 and as high as 3.4 just after pulling out of the exit so maybe the mythical 3.0 is doable with a little practice. This is also the pre-production prototype. Average fallrate looks to be around 27mph with forward speeds in the mid to upper 70s. Any PM advice as to how to export the video file would be great. Numbers are from a flysite.

Tom, spend your extra money on a real server. This guy can't upload video of the new Apache Wingsuit because your site sucks. Pictures are always too large etc.....

ContourGPS, great toy. I read about Dashware software for overlaying info on video, does analysis too.
I downloaded a trial version and bought it the next day, it's great.
It was only US$49, it's mainly race guages but you can make your own guages selecting whatever inputs, draws tracks and syncs other input devices, worth a look and bloody easy to use.

That aside...I dont think Virgin-Burner is making any comment on brandwars. Simply stating an editing technique some people used in the past to 'have the video fit better with the pace of the music'

Well, Upper to mid 70s is not really fast...

I could hit 110 mph last year with an X-bird. I seem to recall doing a jump where I hit a spike of 20:1 glide for a vertical speed of 3 mph. Obviously that was after a long dive to pick up speed.

On a normal flight from the ITW, I'd usually get spikes at 3.8 easy with vertical speeds in the 18 - 22 mph range. I never worked out the average GR for the jumps. I couldn't be arsed.

I really hope the Apache does better because I have one on order :)

Man, I wish I was a rich base jumper who could afford such nice things like a wingsuit. O well, Ill just stick to jumping my non-base specific canopy with a velcro rig
