Can someone that have a Troll MDV\DW tell me if this one is MDV or DW.

They say it's MDV but I don't see the (mono direction valve) i don't see a valve, all I can see it's mesh inlets.
Can someone post a picture with a MDV valve. srry for bad english

The earlier Troll MDV had something like ZP tube attached to each vent, and did a great job but added quite a bit to the pack volume over all. After much R & D Atair developed a simple system of a number of f-111 flaps (can be seen on the photos) which are open during pressurisation and on deep brakes.....and create an effective seal over the Vent in flight...... Simple, very efficient and lower pack volume

MDV has to do with being vented
DW has to do with the latest revision of the Troll, which introduced a slight change in airfoil and more noticably a vent in the center cell (5/7 vents)

I own a troll DW that has absolutely no vent.
And as far as I know it's not the latest revison of the troll anymore.

It must be the latest Troll because I just bought this one.
Label say "Troll DW"

I always though the DW was ventless and the MDV had vents.

Troll and TrollDW are the airfoils. DW is (was) the latest revision.
MDV stands for MonoDirectionalValves and just means that the airfoil is vented. The stock MDV configuration was 4/7 on the older Troll, and 5/7 on the DW Troll. Look on the order form, the MDV is a chargeable option.

Think of it just like the VTEC in Apex products. Both the FOX and the FLIK are unvented airfoils with VTEC (vents) being an option.

so FOX VTEC is a vented FOX, and a Troll MDV is a vented Troll.

I may be wrong but the DW IS the latest version of the Troll. The "DW" name came from a lot of testing and input from Dwayne Weston.

I owned both the MDV Troll and the MDV DW version.
