Canadia BASE
Just out of curiosity, what is the policy on BASE in Canada? From a legal perspective..is there anything that sanctions certain areas/objects an open site? I know you can't just go and huck off the CN tower, but for those experienced, what are the regulations? Does it vary from province to province? I know in my province where there isn't any jumping, i'm sure local law enforcement could watch a base jump and probably ask you to do it again!Sly

It's banned in Ontario provincial parks, and most sites you would be trespassing to jump. Theres a few cliffs out there that are kind of a grey area..

Same as Punkd mentioned here in Alberta. Provincial parks and natural areas are off limits as well as national parks across Canada. I belive that in BC there are no specific rules against it in their provincial parks but there are evil forces at work to change that.

Good thing is there are TONS of cliffs outside of any park or natural areas in Alberta and BC where you can huck all you want.

It's only illegal if they catch you.

i think like most everywhere the repercussions depend on your demeanor where/when/how/if you get caught..

but naw you're not getting any breaks just cause you're in canada.
