Re: [DiverStump] jumping alone
Hey Stump!
I would go to a legal, stress- free environment where I could do lots of jumps, and packjobs to get very current and gain confidence in the opening characteristics of my canopy, my body position, my pilot chute technique etc. just to get a feeling of how those things influence my openings etc.
Then as far as jumping alone goes. I would again make sure I'm current, so I can do my own gearcheck, and I'm sure my bridle is routed correctly (if handheld) etc...
My preference would be to find someone who i can call before and after the jump, so I'm not alone in case of an accident.
There are also emergency beacons for sports, that work via satelite, that do that automatically, and that have an emergency button in case you get hurt.
I think it's called spot messenger..
