can anyone tell me what is the best airport to fly into for the ITW

milan

Verona if you can get a flight to it.

Otherwise any of the three near Milan (Bergamo, Linate, Malpensa) or Treviso near Venice.

I flew into Venice for cheap and drove up there... nice drive.

who will be at the itw between? i may need a ride from hamburg.

The train going up there is also pretty cheap. You take the train to Trento then a city bus down.

Trains in Italy are like 7-8 euro per 100 km. Sometimes less. Which compared to the rest of Europe, is pretty cheap.

Bollocks to the train and bus thing. You need a car to realistically jump there so you can get to the drop off point. Two cars if you have a group and your sorted for up and then getting your car down again.

You will limit your jump possibilities if you hope to bum a lift each jump from other jumpers.

What about bumming jumpers in the landing area?

Should be busy this time of the year. usually a good few people around for easter. You know, show off the new gear, 30 people on the exit point, tree landings right left and centre :) should be an interesting weekend :)
