are you saying that if your mouth is open..your body fills up like a wingsuit..havn't thought about it like that

Yeah, I counted that as well. The mid phase of the flight is basically proxy-flying, you can see where the lift really kicks in and he's matching the slope.

Impressive yes, but everybody knows that was possible only because he has a Finnish coach.

Btw you have seen the video of Andreas Küttel skijumping in a wingsuit (no rig though)? I bet he was really scared.

The jump with the wingsuit, is as you say a jump, and only a jump, but this was a skiflying jump, where he is flying as optimal a human being can do today with the knownledge and equipment.

Wingsuit and the ski set up we have today, will not get a optimal flight, so something have to change before you will see that combination.

If you look at his hands in the slowmo, he has one palm up and the other palm down but moving a little to control flight.
