You are on top of a building... there is nothing to staticline from near the edge, so you search the building for something you can ghetto rig....

not enough info to make a choice...
how tall is the building?
Did you find the rubber elevator belts outside?
Does the building have windows?
Was there a flag on the flagpole? If so what was it?
etc...

sounds like a B in Detroit 225' ..... we used the telephone cable :o)

Run a rope from that stout cable to
your exit point, tug on it to test it.

Connect 2 separate lengths of break
cord from the rope to your bridle.

I have done this solo from a 222' B
and it worked great. Good Luck!
