Re: [MarkusWyler] Bad WS Exit - fly out or pull?
I don't mean to sound glib but...
The real solution is to not jump do or die sites until you have built up the experience to minimize your chance of an exit so bad that you couldn't recover it in time.
If you are two close to fly it out, you are probably too close to pull. I've heard of people pulling 2 seconds after exit and getting away with it, but I wouldn't fancy it.
If you are obviously not going to fly it out, I guess your only option is to pull and hope to get lucky and minimize injuries.
There is a video floating around of a guy well into a flight that is sinking lower and lower into the valley and he eventually pulls super low and got away with it. If he had tried to fly out of it I doubt he would have succeed.
It's all well and good to think and plan these things ahead of time, but you also need to constantly assess what is happening and make the best judgment for the current situation.
